Terms of Service

Version 0.3 · Last updated 16 October 2026

1. Agreement

"Segmnt" is the trading name of Yahya Hamad Mohammed Mahdali, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He holds a Saudi Freelance Work Certificate from the Ministry of Human Resource and Social Development (speciality: Cloud Networks), valid to 15 October 2027. Certificate document ID: FL-170209098. These terms are between you (the customer) and that party. You accept them by ticking the box at sign-up, and you confirm you have authority to bind your business. We are not yet a registered company; we will register before we start paid plans. When we register, this agreement transfers to the company, and we tell you when it happens.

2. Accounts

You must be 18 or older and give true details. Sign-in is with a provider account (Google, GitHub, Reddit or Apple) - we do not use passwords. Each customer business holds one account; an Agency account may manage many clients under it. We may suspend an account immediately for security or legal reasons.

3. The service

We host your videos, encode them, deliver them over a signed link, and give you a player, a dashboard and an API. We describe the service in our docs.

4. Plans, fees and VAT

We offer a free plan today. We do not sell paid plans yet. We will publish paid plans and their prices before they start. Prices are in Saudi Riyals (SAR). We are not VAT-registered yet, so we charge no VAT. We will add VAT only after we are registered, and we will tell you before any charge.

5. Payment

When paid plans start, we will name our payment provider (mada, Apple Pay, STC Pay), publish the charges and the refund policy, and issue invoices. We will add VAT only once we are VAT-registered. Fees are due on the date we state. We may suspend the service for non-payment.

6. Your content and licence

You keep ownership of your videos. You grant us a licence to store, copy, encode, make thumbnails and review frames, review, and deliver your content, and to let our sub-processors do the same, only to run the service and enforce the Acceptable Use Policy. The licence ends when you delete the content, subject to our retention rules.

7. Your warranties and indemnity

You confirm that you have all rights and consents needed for your content, including from people who appear in your videos and from your viewers. You will indemnify us against claims that come from your content or your use of the service.

8. Data protection

Our Data Processing Addendum applies to the videos and viewer data we process for you, and forms part of these terms.

9. Acceptable use

Your use must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. Breaking it can lead to a hold, a removal, or an account ban.

10. Content checks

We may hold or remove content. See our Content review and moderation policy.

11. Availability

We work to keep the service running, but the service is provided "as is", with no warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may do planned maintenance. Rights you have under Saudi law that cannot be excluded remain.

12. Ending the agreement

Either side can end the agreement with 30 days' notice. We may end it immediately for a material breach or an AUP breach. When the agreement ends: you may export your data for 30 days, then we delete it as our retention rules describe, and any fees already due remain payable.

13. Liability

To the extent the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia permit: (a) neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill; (b) each party's total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees paid or payable in that period, or SAR 500 if you are on the free plan. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, your payment obligations, or your indemnity.

14. Changes

We give 30 days' notice of changes to these terms. If you do not accept a change, you may end the agreement. Price changes apply only from the next billing period.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The competent courts in Riyadh have exclusive jurisdiction.

16. General

Force majeure, assignment (including transfer to the future company), entire agreement, severability and notices apply. When an Arabic version exists, the Arabic version prevails.
