Content review and moderation policy
Who can see the frames
Our system saves a review frame every 10 seconds. These frames are stored with your video. A person on our team can see them on our internal review page. Customers cannot see or reach this page. We process frames only for content safety and abuse prevention. We do not use an automatic content check today. See the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Addendum.
Why a video may be held
A video is held when our team holds it after a viewer report, or when a person on our team flags it.
What a hold does
The video does not play. A new playback link is refused. Links issued just before the hold stop within about a minute. The file is not deleted. We send a video.held webhook to your app.
What a removal does
The video is removed from the service and access ends. Playback stops within about a minute. Where the law requires, or for a legal matter, we keep the file and the frames as evidence instead of deleting them.
Notice
We tell you when we hold or remove a video, and why, unless the law forbids it or notice would create a risk.
Release
A person decides to release or hold. Every decision is recorded with a reason. You cannot release a video yourself. Contact us.
Reports
Your app can send a report to us through our API. A report appears in our internal review list at once. It does not send you or us an e-mail.
Honesty
This is a best-effort human review. It is not a guarantee that all prohibited content will be found. It is not DRM. See our Security page.
