segmnt vs Bunny Stream for course video in Saudi Arabia
segmnt vs Bunny Stream. Bunny Stream is an engine (an API), not a finished product. It is cheap on raw storage and bandwidth, and many people recommend it for that. But with Bunny you build the dashboard, the player, the sign-in and the billing yourself. segmnt is a ready platform: you upload through one API and we encode, store, secure and stream on your domain.

Why links don't leak
When a viewer presses play, segmnt sends a signed link that names the video, the allowed domain, and a short expiry time. Copy that link onto another site and it returns 403 — the video will not play. This stops casual sharing and hotlinking.
What we do not do yet: we do not have full DRM (no Widevine or FairPlay — screen recording is not stopped), and we do not have a bulk or one-click importer — we move your first library by hand. Dynamic watermarking and a batch importer are next on our roadmap.
